YASA DVD Ripper Platinum is an easy to use software application for extracting DVD video and audio contents and make a conversion to a wide variety of video output formats.
The application offers a comprehensive set of video and audio output formats and video and audio codecs. The video and audio output options make possible to customize the converted video file and to obtain maximum quality.
Some of the supported output video formats are: AVI, MPEG, WindowsWMV, DivX, RM, MOV, PSP Video, iPod Video, MPEG-1, MPEG-2, MPEG-4, ASF, 3GPP, 3GPP2, etc.
The application can also rip DVD contents into audio formats such as MP3, MP2, Windows WMA and WAV, AC3, M4A, OGG, etc.
Video codecs from MPEG1 video to IBM Ultimotion. Audio codecs from MPEG Audio Layer 2 to Apple MACE 6.
User interface is very intuitive and easy to use; most of the option selections can be set with just a couple of mouse clicks.
Another interesting feature is the capability for the user to select the audio language from DVD video, select subtitles, set output video size, frame and audio bitrates, etc. Also, movies can be edited and/or cutted by setting the start and ending points in time terms (one second accuracy).
